Corporate Philosophy

1001 Company Towards a Sustainable Textile Company

We at the Moritsune support manufacturing through the textile industry, "honing our skills while preserving superior techniques and traditions."

And we are grateful for and will continue to protect the natural environment that supports us so that we can continue to bring smiles and excitement to our customers and the community.

All employees of the Moritsune share the same aspirations and aim to be a 1001 ("Sen'i" = textile) company that will continue to exist for 1000 years to come.

Vision

Towards a
Manufacturing Company

By collaborating with companies in the Hokuriku region, mainly in Ishikawa, where the textile industry is deeply rooted, and "manufacturing," we are transforming into a manufacturer that brings products to market.

Challenge

We will draw out the potential of textiles and create products that meet ever-diversifying needs together with our partners. We will be a company that advances in this evolving era.

To the World

Taking Moritsune's challenge to the world. Through our products, we will continue to explore the possibilities of Moritsune's textiles.

Message

From a local Factory to a Sustainable Textile Company

Moritsune started out as a small local factory that dyed thread. While valuing our connections with the local community, we have expanded our business by identifying the needs of the times, and we now have more opportunities to work with overseas customers.

In the past, we were mainly asked to process and manufacture yarns for the fashion industry, but in recent years, there has been a growing demand for high-performance materials that require technology unique to Japan in the automotive and outdoor industries. We have also built a new factory, which allows us to handle not only yarn but also fabric manufacturing.

In line with our corporate philosophy, we aim to be a "sustainable textile company" by continually improving our technology and proactively taking on new challenges.

We Want to Support the Japanese Textile Industry

Textiles have always been and will continue to be directly linked to the necessities of life: food, clothing and shelter. As technology advances, textiles are said to be indispensable in a variety of industrial fields.

On the other hand, in recent years, the textile industry has often moved its manufacturing bases overseas to reduce costs. However, with the future being so uncertain globally, we must keep our bases in Japan to keep up with the rapid changes of the times. It is because of this belief that we continue to value our ties with the local community even now that we have expanded our business.

We want to support Japan's textile industry and manufacturing. With this in mind, we will continue to take on challenges that will expand the possibilities of textiles.
